NEA-Alaska is currently seeking perspective candidates

Assistant Executive Director, NEA-Alaska
Location:   Anchorage

Position Description
In Brief:
The successful incumbent will function as the UniServ Program Manager and Affiliate Relations Director for NEA-Alaska. Experience working in public education or with public education employees. The duties will include but not be limited; to the ability to work with NEA-Alaska elected leaders, managers, staff and members. Experience and working knowledge of organizational development concepts and change strategies. Ability to design and implement training programs for staff development. Knowledge about concepts and strategies for local leader, member development and essential elements for building strong locals. Experience in confronting problematic situations and possess the problem solving skills. Knowledge of fiscal and human resource planning. Minimally, a Bachelor’s Degree; a Master’s Degree or advanced study preferred. Prior UniServ Director Experience preferred. (See Job Description for more)
 
Function:

Act as a manager and supervisor for NEA-Alaska

 programs, staff, vision, mission and goals.
