The current NEA Foundation Global Learning Fellows tell us that the fellowship’s 12 months of professional development are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that provides them with the knowledge and skills to integrate global competency into their daily classroom instruction. More importantly, it helps them prepare their students to thrive in our increasing interconnected world.
This fellowship includes:
- An online course in teaching global competence
- A two-day professional development workshop in Washington, D.C. (Fall 2019)
- Webinars discussing global issues
- A nine-day international field study (Summer 2020)
