Educator Resilience Summit

As we prepare for a school year that will be unlike any before it, the stress and anxiety will continue to take a toll on your members. As teachers are made out in the media to be self-serving, money grabbing and worse; we know that truth: That teachers will serve their students this fall and will make sacrifices in order to do so. The public and media only see teachers as heroes when they are mentally, emotionally, or physically suffering for other people’s children. Unless we actively work to change this narrative, we will continue to lose our teachers because the stress and overwhelm is just too much. We have to show our teachers that there is a way that they can be a great educator and also have their health and relationships!

In this time of uncertainty, there is one thing that is within our control: building the mindsets and habits to support our well-being and resilience. I am writing to share with you a FREE learning opportunity. The Educator Resilience Summit is being held on August 3-4th and features educators from around the country on what they have done to build their own resilience.
