Check the status of your teaching certificate!

Your teaching certificate is valid for only 5 years. The State of Alaska WILL NOT notify you when your certificate is up for renewal. Fortunately, you can search online and learn exactly when your certificate expires:

Teacher Certification

You may not be employed as a teacher in Alaska’s public schools unless you have a valid Alaska teacher certificate. (Alaska Statute 14.20.010)
