Education Northwest’s mathematics professional development builds teachers’ pedagogical and content knowledge focusing on number sense and algebraic reasoning to optimize students’ learning of mathematics. Teachers will participate in mathematical problem-solving activities, analyze classroom video clips and examples of student work, and apply research about how children learn mathematics.
