Quick and Easy Professional Development Opportunities for New Educators

The school year is underway, and new educators across the state are quickly learning the ins and outs of their classrooms. We know it isn’t always easy, so please consider utilizing some of these webinars and trainings from SupportED:

On October 16th at 3PM, join a panel of professional educators for “Thriving in Your First Year.” Learn about setting up classrooms, identifying local and community resources, and balancing professional expectations with the realities of life.

Additionally, you can click here to listen to a 1-hour training on “Nailing Your First Parent-Teacher Conference.” This training provides beginning teachers with tips on how to conduct parent-teacher conferences that will communicate student academic progress as well as strengthen relationships with parents and guardians. Trainers will cover techniques for discussing a student’s academic progress and other learning needs with parents and guardians.
